An improviser, actor and writer for 22 years, John Lutz is an alumnus of the Second City National Touring Company. John played Lutz on 30 Rock, for which he won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.  He wrote on Saturday Night Live for seven seasons, winning 3 Writers Guild Awards and a Peabody Award. In Chicago, John performed regularly at the Improv Olympic, The Annoyance Theatre and The Second City. Film credits include The Comedian, Sisters, Sleepwalk with Me and Friends with Kids. Among his Television credits are: 30 Rock, The Good Wife, Playing House, The Characters, Saturday Night Live and Human Giant. He also voices multiple characters in The Awesomes on Hulu and American Dad!.  He currently writes and performs for Late Night with Seth Meyers. You can also see him improvise at the UCB Theater Chelsea once a month with Scott Adsit in their long running show John and Scott.
